Calabash Fireworks

WHEN: Monday, July 4, 6–10 p.m.

WHERE: Calabash Waterfront, Calabash, NC


The evening kicks off with live music. Dance the night away, then kick back and watch amazing fireworks sponsored by the Calabash Fire Department.


Carolina Beach


Independence Extravaganza at Pleasure Island

WHEN: Thursday, June 30 & Sunday, July 3, starting at 6:30 p.m.

Every Thursday all summer long, Boardwalk Gazebo Music presents amazing live music and an incredible fireworks display. But for Independence Day, they’re pulling out all the stops. Jamming music and a fireworks show to remember.





July 4th Picnic in the Park

Oak Island


Beach Day

WHEN: Friday, July 1, 8 a.m.–9:30 p.m.

WHERE: Middleton Park Extension • 46th Street SE, Oak Island, NC


In association with the NC 4th of July Festival, Oak Island is kicking off the festivities. Tons of fun activities, from volleyball to sandcastle building to bocce ball. As evening comes on, join the shag dancing contest. The night concludes with anniversary fireworks.


Ocean Isle Beach


Fireworks and Freedom Celebration Ocean Isle Style

On July 3, watch as spectacular fireworks are launched from the Ocean Isle Beach Pier. Then the next morning at 10 a.m., come enjoy the community parade.




North Carolina 4th of July Festival & Fireworks

Southport has been celebrating Independence Day for 200 years, so they have perfected this day of festivities. The true spirit of patriotism is honored, starting with the patriotic parade. Then it continues with a day full of activities, culminating in beautiful fireworks at 9 p.m.




Wilmington 4th of July Celebration

WHEN: Monday, July 4, starting at 6 p.m.

WHERE: North Waterfront Park • 5 North Water Street, Wilmington, NC


This event features live music and an amazing firework display launched from a barge in the Cape Fear River starting at 9:05 p.m.
